Fjellsangin

Fjellsangin is mine. I built it — the cabin, the brand, the website — before we ever welcomed our first guest.

The property is a two-bedroom luxury cabin retreat at the base of Mt. Rainier in Ashford, Washington — cedar-lined sauna, Jøtul fireplace, old-growth forest, the whole thing. It was featured in Seattle Magazine. It earns 5-star reviews consistently. And a meaningful share of its bookings come directly, not through Airbnb or VRBO.

Building this site myself taught me what STR websites actually need to do — not just look good, but make a stranger trust you enough to skip the platform and book direct. The property story has to land in the first few seconds. The photography has to do work. The booking flow has to feel safe.

The scope covered the full brand — logo, color system, typography, and visual identity — plus the complete Squarespace website with a blog, experiences section, local guide, and direct booking integration.
