Hey, I’m Jennifer

I'm Jennifer Mager — Squarespace website designer, Circle Member since 2017, Gold Partner. I've been doing this for 9+ years, and I work exclusively in Squarespace, which means I know it well enough to do things most designers don't know are possible.

Specializing in one platform sounds limiting until you realize what it actually buys you. I'm not splitting my attention across WordPress, Wix, and whatever's trendy this year. Every hour I've spent on client work for the past nine years has been on Squarespace. That depth shows up in the work.

My client work has landed in some specific places. I've built 9 websites for concierge medical practices in the Ms. Medicine physician network — across 8 states, everything from family medicine to gynecology to metabolic medicine. I've built the websites for HERmedicine and the OncoMenopause Consortium. I designed Fjellsangin, my own luxury cabin retreat near Mt. Rainier that was featured in Seattle Magazine, and I've designed sites for vacation rental owners who want the same thing I wanted: a direct booking site that actually works.

My process is designed to minimize what you have to do. You bring the content and the vision. I handle everything else. It's faster and easier than most clients expect — which is the whole point.

My Approach

Every decision I make on a website — the layout, the type, the image choices, where the CTA lives — has a reason behind it. I'm not decorating. I'm solving a problem.

The problem is usually some version of: this business does excellent work, and their website doesn't show it. My job is to close that gap.

I work exclusively in Squarespace, which means I'm not splitting my attention across platforms. Nine years of Squarespace work shows up in the details — the things clients notice but can't quite name.

  • “Jennifer thought of everything. She took the ideas in my head and turned them into a gorgeous, user-friendly website. My new image is what I’ve been trying to convey and could not - and I am a trained graphic designer! She was objective, organized and had logical rationale for all of the design decisions she made.”

    — TINA WELLS, LIVING DELISH & NUTRISH

    — CAMERON CORNELL, THE CHAIR-APIST PODCAST

  • "Jennifer is a design genius! She skillfully took my vision for our salon's website and turned it into an edgy, stylish, and user-friendly online space that perfectly matches our urban loft aesthetic. The dropdown service and pricing tabs she implemented added an extra layer of convenience for our clients. Her work exceeded my expectations and truly captures the essence of our salon. Thank you, Jennifer!"

    — TRACIE SYMMONS, ITSA SALON

  • “Jennifer was the perfect match for me from a designer perspective. I’m not a brand or marketing person so the inputs needed to build out a website were very challenging for me. I hate to talk about and/or promote myself in the way needed to develop a website and brand.”

    — KATIE TANSEY, NUTRITION COACH

  • "Working with Jennifer on our website was a game-changer. She brilliantly showcases our events and makes it super easy for our customers to snag tickets. Her creative touch and technical expertise exceeded our expectations. Plus, the whole process was a breeze. We can't recommend Jennifer enough for crafting a website that truly elevates our events."

    — Tracy Klinkroth, Epiphany Events

  • "Jennifer is a master of taking the earliest glimmer of an idea to being a full-fledged, vital enterprise! Her ability to hold the big-picture vision while also attending to the smallest of details is remarkable. She is highly communicative, flexible (yet firm when she feels passionately), and dedicated to creating a brand and website that captures the design elements deemed important at the onset of the working relationship. Jennifer offered a myriad of solutions-based suggestions to my many, many questions and continually impressed me with her, "We got this!" attitude. Thank you Jennifer, for all you've done to help me launch my small business! I am forever grateful."
