The Process

The process we'll go through together is like a well-choreographed dance honed over years of partnering with small business owners. Interestingly, I'm often the first designer my clients have worked with!

At the outset of your project, you'll receive an invitation to your personalized client portal which not only outlines the critical dates, timelines, and milestones for your project but is also the place where we will centralize our communication for the duration of the project. The portal is the informational hub for your project and provides you with a clear overview of what to expect next and how all the pieces come together.

Project timelines can vary depending on the package, but in general, they follow this pattern:

  • 01. Let’s Meet

    Once you’ve filled out our Inquiry Form, we’ll schedule a date for a Discovery Call. During the call we’ll chat about your vision for your brand and your website needs.

  • 02. Let’s Make it Formal

    If we decide we are a good fit, we will send you a proposal, contract, and initial invoice. Just dot the “i’s” and cross the “t’s,” and we’ll be off to the races.

  • 03. Let’s Get Prepped

    We will outline the timeline, milestones and deliverables for your project in our Notion Client Portal. This is where we will communicate and collaborate for the duration of the project.

  • 04. Let’s Gather the Goods

    This phase actually take place before your project start date and is the one phase that requires heavy lifting by you. We provide you with a Content Workbook and Brand Identity Questionnaire to gather the information we need to know in order to create an amazing website. We will also set up a shared Pinterest board to make sure we are on the same page visually.

  • 05. Let’s Get Strategic

    During this phase we will design your web branding and site map and strategy. This is where you will start to see your vision come to life.

  • 06. Let’s Get Creative

    Now that we have our strategy and mood defined, this is where we design your interactive mockup to give you a feel of how your site will work. Once that’s approved, we move on to Squarespace implementation and the presentation of your final design.

  • 07. Let's Launch!

    All there is to do is hit the button and launch your brand spanking new website!
